Surgical Technologist - Day Shift

This position offers a 4x10 hour day shift with a variable start time, guaranteeing 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will play a crucial role in assisting surgical teams by preparing operating rooms, ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and supplies, and maintaining a sterile environment. This role requires excellent teamwork and communication skills to facilitate efficient and safe surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the sterile environment in the operating room.
• Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures.
• Handle and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies to the surgical team.
• Ensure the proper functioning of surgical equipment and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Maintain records of surgical procedures and instruments utilized.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is required.
• Previous experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
