5:00 PM - 5:30 AM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled with 24 hours guaranteed

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing critical care to patients in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive ER experience and be skilled in managing trauma cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in the emergency room setting.
• Assess and prioritize patient needs using established clinical protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the patient management system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months ER experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certifications from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS).
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
