Travel RN - Operating Room - 7A to 5P Shift

Job Description

Looking for a dedicated and skilled Travel RN to join our Operating Room team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment dedicated to patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures. The department includes 14 operating rooms where various surgical procedures are performed, including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures as a circulator and scrub nurse.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during surgical operations.
• Communicate effectively with surgical staff and anesthesia teams.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Ensure compliance with established protocols and guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience.
• BLS & ACLS certification required.
• Experience in circulating and scrubbing in an operating room setting preferred.
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR is a plus.
