Respiratory Therapist

Schedule

This position requires availability from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Alternative scheduling options, including four 10-hour days or four 9-hour days, may be considered.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for PAP device setups, including mask fittings, oxygen assessments, and home ventilator support as needed. This role requires proficiency in operating the Brightree system and iPad, along with experience with ResMed PAP devices, ResMed, and Fisher & Paykel PAP masks, as well as Astral and Trilogy ventilators.

Responsibilities

• Set up and fit PAP devices for patients.
• Conduct oxygen assessments.
• Provide home ventilator support when necessary.
• Utilize the Brightree system and operate iPads effectively.
• Maintain knowledge of ResMed and Fisher & Paykel masks and ventilators.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in Iowa; Minnesota license is preferred.
• Experience with ResMed PAP devices preferred.
• Ability to perform mandatory health screenings including fit tests and vaccines.
