Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a night shift role. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, with preference for 2 years. This position requires strong skills and experience, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. The RN will be a critical part of our community hospital team, providing care for patients in various stages of labor.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in Labor and Delivery, including stabilization of neonates.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, and other birthing procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of and competency in using the Epic charting system.
• Support breastfeeding and provide education to new parents.
• Float within all areas of the Labor and Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Postpartum departments as needed.
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current MD RN license or compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, NCC C-EFM (required at the time of submission).
• NIH, CPI, and STABLE certifications preferred.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery with a patient ratio of 1:2.
• Prior experience with neonates, adolescents, and adults in a community hospital setting is preferred.
