Surgical Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Surgical Technologist will support various surgical specialties including Vascular, Plastics Reconstructive, Orthopedics, and Robotics. The ideal candidate should possess experience in procedures such as DIEP Flaps, Microsurgery, Bariatric, GYN, General, and Colorectal surgeries, as well as Total Joints in Orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries.
• Ensure that all necessary instruments and supplies are present before surgeries.
• Assist in patient positioning and comfort before and after procedures.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience in Vascular, Plastics Reconstructive, and Robotics surgery preferred.
• Proven background in Orthopedics, particularly Total Joints.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
