Registered Nurse - Clinical Leadership

Schedule

This position includes a blend of shifts: (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts, with (1) 12-hour weekend shift every 5-6 weeks and 8-hour weekend call every 2 months. Additional shifts may be available for selection.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality and compassionate patient care. Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, the nurse will provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the health care team is crucial. The RN will also participate in identifying solutions for variances from patient goals and ensure the implementation of those solutions.

Responsibilities

• Formulate effective nursing care plans based on clinical knowledge and analytical abilities.
• Provide a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification.
