Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule

Able to work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. On-call responsibilities include every fourth weekend and one weekday per week.

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for administering radioactive medication to patients and operating imaging technology to track the radiation within their bodies. This role requires a combination of technical skill and patient care in a medical setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer radioactive materials for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
• Prepare and maintain imaging equipment for capturing radiation images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 6 months of Nuclear Medicine Technology experience is required.
• Current CNMT certification is required.
