This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including lunch breaks.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions to patients within the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU). The candidate may be required to float to other units as needed due to a mutual staffing agreement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving patient mobility, strength, and overall functional ability.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding therapeutic practices and home exercise programs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current occupational therapy licensure for the state.
• Experience working in a rehabilitation or acute care setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
