Travel Cath Lab RN

Job Description

The Travel Cath Lab RN will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures. This role requires active participation in patient assessments, procedures, and recovery while ensuring the highest standards of nursing care are met.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab environment.
• Assist physicians during catheterization procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions pre, during, and post-procedure.
• Administer medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role requires potential on-call duties in the afternoons, weekends, and holiday rotations with a 30-minute response time.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience is preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• A valid Florida or compact state RN license is mandatory.
• Must have 500 hours of experience at a Cardiothoracic surgical site or 500 hours at a facility that performs over 500 PCIs per year, as per Florida Statutes.
