Day rotational schedule, 7 on/7 off: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM for the first 4 days, 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM for the last 3 days.

Job Description

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff. The position prioritizes customer service for employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of patients and hospital information.
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures pertaining to incident reporting.
• Perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Demonstrate adequate radiation safety practices for patients and co-workers.
• Participate in all Radiology Management System functions regarding patient procedures.
• Provide patient education as required.
• Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiology staff.
• Adhere to clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
• NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection Registration.
• ARRT(R) Certification.
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).
