Registered Nurse in Skilled Nursing Facility

Days and evenings with flexibility between 8- and 12-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week totaling 40 hours.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) with a focus on geriatric care. The ideal candidate must possess an active nursing license and demonstrate flexibility in working various shifts to meet patient needs. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, managing daily nursing operations, and working closely with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Perform assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor patient progress and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in SNF or LTC settings focusing on geriatrics.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications preferred.
