Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), with every other weekend floating required.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will manage a patient ratio of 1:6-7 in a telemetry unit, providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical conditions including respiratory diseases, urologic issues, neurological disorders, and more. This role requires sound clinical judgment, proficient use of technology, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care for those in a telemetry setting.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as per protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and interpret telemetry data.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in nursing.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Experience with charting systems such as Cerner is preferred.
