Physical Therapist (Spanish Speaking Preferred) - Outpatient Rehabilitation

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-Hour (08:30 AM - 04:30 PM), Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide comprehensive outpatient rehabilitation services to a variety of patients, including those with orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric conditions. The ideal candidate, who should ideally speak Spanish, will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to an average of 11-12 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions while monitoring patient progress.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols and home exercise programs.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and techniques to ensure optimal recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant physical therapy experience.
• Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support) and Manual Therapy.
• Experience with aquatic therapy and neurology is a plus.
