Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend rotations required every other weekend.

Job Description

The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care to patients in an acute care setting. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the emergency room environment, including assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients of all ages.
• Manage patient flow efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize Epic for patient charting and documentation accurately and effectively.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient and facility requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Active South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license.
• Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Epic experience is required; CPI and TNCC certifications are preferred.
