7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend rotation.

Job Description

The Inpatient Hold RN provides specialized nursing care for patients in an inpatient setting. In this role, the nurse may be required to manage patients from the Emergency Department as needed, ensuring optimal care and support for patients throughout their stay. This position involves a strong commitment to patient advocacy, nursing excellence, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and nursing care processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Previous experience in a nursing role with inpatient care preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be necessary based on facility policies.
