Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiation Therapist to provide exceptional patient care in an adult outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering radiation therapy and possess the necessary certifications and skills to perform the responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapies per prescribed treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques including CBCT, kV, and mV imaging.
• Perform external beam therapy and intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT).
• Oversee treatment plans and calculate radiation doses accurately.
• Conduct tumor localization and pretreatment CT simulations.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols at all times.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment procedures and safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RT (R) (T)).
• Active West Virginia Radiation Therapy Board License.
• No prior license suspensions; probation situations to be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
