Rehabilitation Registered Nurse

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:30) with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse with experience in acute inpatient rehab. This role involves providing care for adult patients in a rehabilitation setting, focusing on recovery and rehabilitation after serious illness or injury. The successful candidate will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop nursing care plans for patients.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on discharge planning and rehabilitation processes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in rehabilitation nursing.
• BLS certification is required.
• Previous charge experience and familiarity with the Epic charting system are preferred.
• Experience in an LTAC or trauma setting is preferred.
