Job Description

The Registered Nurse serves as a clinical practitioner responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care tailored to the specific age of the patient population within the assigned units. The RN is committed to ensuring high-quality care is provided efficiently and safely, adhering to the standards of the unit. This role requires maintaining performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization, while also fostering a respectful environment for staff, physicians, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care effectively within the assigned units.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and efficient practices.
• Demonstrate professionalism and respect in interactions with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Maintain current knowledge and skills relevant to the patient population served.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with patients of all age groups.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
• Current RN license in New Mexico or a current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a relevant clinical setting.
