Respiratory Therapist - Critical Care

This position requires a 12-hour day shift with rotation for weekends and on-call responsibilities.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the Respiratory Therapist will provide patient care activities in critical care areas, which include adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care. The role also involves the training of RT personnel in these specialized areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients in critical care settings.
• Administer treatments and therapies for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Train and mentor new RT personnel.
• Participate in patient assessments and care planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Oklahoma is required.
