Job Description

The Mammography Technologist will perform outpatient imaging services including Breast Ultrasound, Bone Density scans, Mammograms, and Breast Biopsy procedures. This role requires thorough documentation and adherence to established medical standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and related imaging examinations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Document imaging procedures accurately.
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• ARRT certification in Radiology.
• Documented completion of at least 200 mammography exams within the last 24 months.
• 15 Breast-specific CEUs in the last 3 years.
• 8 hours of digital training and 8 hours of 3D/tomo training (both documented).
• Documented initial 25 supervised exams.
