Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

TRUE ROTATING shifts, consisting of 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (days/nights). Weekends are required every other week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care in the Labor & Delivery unit. The role demands a strong background in high-risk obstetrics, including experience with antepartum and circulating during C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans for high-risk labor and delivery patients.
• Assist with C-sections and manage antepartum care.
• Effectively communicate with the healthcare team about patient status and progress.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in condition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, specifically with high-risk patients.
• Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS are preferred.
