Registered Nurse - 12-Hour Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team for night shifts in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of diagnoses, ensuring a high standard of patient care while adhering to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients, including patient assessments and treatment planning.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and titrate drips, such as heparin, based on APTT results.
• Manage patient care with a focus on conditions such as CHF, COPD, and pneumonia.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and unexpired RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:6/7.
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
