Registered Nurse - Night Shift ECMO Specialist

Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with ECMO experience to join our team on the night shift. This role involves floating to the cardiac stepdown unit, providing high-quality care to adults and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage care for patients on ECMO and those with multisystem organ failure
• Provide post-cardiac surgery care, ensuring adherence to protocols
• Perform arterial line management, central line care, and PICC line management
• Administer continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Care for ventilated patients, ensuring all safety and health standards are maintained

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care specialty required
• Travel experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience with Epic documentation system required
