Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Schedule

Night shifts: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) with every 3rd weekend and holiday coverage required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in an inpatient rehabilitation department providing specialized care for adults and geriatrics with rehabilitation needs, including those recovering from strokes, aneurysms, and post-operative surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to individuals with neurological diagnoses and generalized debility.
• Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, respiration, temperature, and pulse.
• Perform medication reconciliation and interpret laboratory results.
• Conduct dressing changes and set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays.
• Engage in telephone triage and manage pharmacy calls/patient refill requests.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience in acute care or rehabilitation.
• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• EPIC charting system experience is required.
• Pass Fail EKG exam required; candidates may have up to 2 attempts to pass.
