Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist specializes in Computed Tomography (CT) and will perform routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols, function independently without supervision, and handle a variety of imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans and related imaging procedures.
• Adhere to established protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain patient care and comfort during procedures.
• Document and report results accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation is preferred.
• Venipuncture experience and familiarity with imaging procedures such as MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging are advantageous.
