Job Description

The laboratory teams at Samaritan Health Services are responsible for testing samples, including blood, body fluids, and tissues, to aid in the diagnosis of diseases, illnesses, or conditions requiring medical attention. Laboratory tests support hospital inpatients and emergency room patients 24 hours a day, as well as outpatient and clinic specimens. All labs are licensed by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and accredited by the College of American Pathologists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Process samples for timely diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA and CAP standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician.
