Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Technician is responsible and accountable for performing studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist, or Director of Imaging Services.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Maintain high standards in the execution of allocated tasks.
• Ensure timely performance of studies under supervision.
• Utilize critical thinking and judgment in clinical situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS Certification
• BLS Certification
• X-Ray/ARRT Certification
• At least 3 years of experience preferred; will consider less.
• Experience in circulating, monitoring, and familiarity with STEMI, High Risk Equipment (Impella, IABP, Anari).
