Oncology Physical Therapist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology physical therapy and a commitment to improving the quality of life for patients with cancer-related impairments. Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, creating individualized exercise programs, and collaborating with oncologists to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cancer-related impairments, such as pain, fatigue, and mobility issues.
• Create individualized, evidence-based exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Provide patient education and coordinate care with oncologists.
• Manage musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs across various stages of cancer treatment.
• Utilize standard physical therapy modalities effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Must have oncology physical therapy experience.
• Active New Hampshire or Compact Physical Therapy License required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Previous outpatient orthopedic experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC and Expro preferred.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
• All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application.

Schedule

This is a day shift position requiring 40 hours per week.
