Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)

Schedule

This is a night shift position from 1900 to 0730, rotating weekends. One 12-hour call shift is required per pay period.

Job Description

The LDRP team provides comprehensive labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care in a family-centered, caring, and medically safe environment. Our staff is highly trained in both nursing and GYN surgical care, ensuring quality service throughout the patient care continuum.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for patients during labor and delivery.
• Provide postpartum and newborn care.
• Conduct triage assessments and interventions.
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize basic fetal monitoring skills to assess fetal well-being.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• AHA ACLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Basic fetal monitoring skills are required; STABLE certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in triage, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and nursery is required.
• Experience in stabilization of the high-risk neonate is preferred.
