Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray and MRI

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No weekends or holidays required.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays and MRIs in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities also include conducting EKGs and initiating IVs for selected modalities. The technologist will be part of a collaborative team focused on providing quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic X-ray imaging and assist with MRI procedures.
• Conduct pre-operative testing and EKGs.
• Start IVs as required for imaging modalities involving bloodwork.
• Maintain patient safety and imaging accuracy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Experience in performing X-ray and MRI imaging.
• Ability to initiate IVs and perform EKGs.
• Familiarity with Epic and Synapse electronic medical record systems.
