Registered Nurse - MedSurg Stepdown & Floor

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, and weekend availability as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our MedSurg Stepdown and Floor unit. The nurse will provide high-quality patient care to individuals in a fast-paced environment, managing and assessing a diverse range of medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and overall health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient care.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings accurately in the EPIC system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current and valid RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience in MedSurg or Stepdown nursing preferred.
