Contract - RN - Post Partum/Mother Baby

This position operates on a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position, starting May 4th.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Post Partum/Mother Baby care. The RN will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to new mothers and their infants during the post-partum period, ensuring the safety and well-being of both the mother and baby.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess post-partum patients and newborns.
• Provide education and support to mothers regarding infant care and breast feeding.
• Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality care.
• Document patient care activities in accordance with established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NRP are required.
