CT Technologist - Outpatient Focus

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00), Thursday to Saturday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will participate in various assigned tasks related to imaging technology, performing diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner and following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography. The position focuses on outpatient care, requiring substantial outpatient experience and IV skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures using GE and Toshiba/Canon machines.
• Administer contrast media in accordance with proper protocols.
• Maintain patient records and document procedures in Epic charting system.
• Ensure safety and accuracy in all imaging processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies.
• Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
• License in CT by OBMI or registered in CT by the ARRT.
• Current BLS certification from the AHA within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient experience and IV skills required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a hard requirement.
