X-Ray Technician - Travel Position

Job Description

Join our clinical team as an X-Ray Technician in a 900-bed facility. This is a travel position requiring expertise in imaging and treatment processes while adhering to state, federal, and professional guidelines. The role encompasses performing and providing appropriate imaging services, maintaining equipment, ensuring patient comfort, and coordinating daily imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging and treatment processes in compliance with guidelines.
• Maintain and assess safety for all imaging equipment.
• Monitor patient comfort and need for procedure revisions.
• Coordinate daily imaging procedures.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.

Schedule

This position operates on a rotating schedule from 6 PM to 7 AM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• Experience with GE imaging equipment is essential.
• Must be comfortable working in the operating room.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school.
• Current NJ State RT License and ARRT certification.
• BLS certified.
