Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist specializing in Acute Care. The ideal candidate will work directly with adult and geriatric patients, enabling them to achieve their rehabilitation goals in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize adaptive devices and assistive technology to enhance patient mobility and independence.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans and rehabilitation goals.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of experience in Acute Care.
• Current NM Physical Therapy license (or pending approval).
• Certifications: BLS.
• Experience with charting systems, preferably Epic.
