Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Nurse provides critical care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department. The nurse will assess, triage, and deliver care to patients with varying levels of acuity and health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments on patients upon arrival.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient care and progress accurately and timely.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the medical staff.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment in compliance with health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC required.
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred.
