Surgical Nurse Position

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 07:00 to 17:30, Monday through Friday. On-call shifts may be scheduled for weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Surgical Nurse with at least one year of acute care experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage an average of 30 surgical cases per day and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after surgeries.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC charting.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Active NJ or Compact nursing license required at the time of submission.
• Experience with the EPIC charting system preferred.
