X-Ray Tech - Night Shift

Night shift, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will provide high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures. The role includes performing various radiological exams and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic examinations of patients to obtain images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients and equipment, adhering to radiation safety protocols.
• Maintain and operate radiologic equipment competently.
• Document and manage patient information using the Epic charting system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• ARRT certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy Permit preferred.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• State licensure in Oregon is required.
