Schedule

Shifts will be rotating (days, evenings, nights), with a total of 36 hours per week. Call and weekends are required, which can include weekdays and weekends.

Job Description

The role involves working in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) alongside a multidisciplinary team. The candidate will be required to have a strong background in CVOR as well as additional experience in general, orthopedic, neuro, vascular, trauma, robotics, and transplant cases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular surgeries and other related procedures.
• Provide in-house call support with a response time of 30 minutes.
• Utilize call rooms if necessary.
• Cover various surgical cases including cardiac robotics, LVAD, and heart transplants.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Certification with NCCT or NBSTSA is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR within the last three years is required, with a preference for 3 years.
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last three years.
• Recent travel experience of at least 1 year is necessary.
• Experience in scrubbing is not required.
