Travel Med Surg RN - Nights

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) starting ASAP. The role involves floating occasionally to assist in critical care with low acuity patients. You will work in a dynamic environment requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt to various situations as they arise.

Schedule

The shift is primarily overnight from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with weekends required as part of the schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in a Med Surg unit.
• Assist in critical care when necessary, managing low acuity patients.
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and practices.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (MedHost).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg experience required.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Active RN license in the applicable state.
