Days - 4 shifts of 10 hours each, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call requirements.

Job Description

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the care of patients in the operating room. As a member of the surgical team, the RN works with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other personnel to provide patient care according to the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability of supplies and timely execution of surgical cases.
• Communicate effectively with patients' families.
• Update physician preference cards and assist during surgical cases.
• Supervise personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of OR Circulator experience.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Experience with robotics preferred.
