Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical ICU Nurse to join our team. This position requires a strong background in critical care nursing, with the ability to manage patients with complex medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during the entire course of treatment.
• Perform assessments, monitoring, and administration of medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care and outcomes accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Assist with specialized procedures as needed, including managing ventilated patients and administering blood products.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting; travel experience preferred.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with managing critical care equipment and protocols.
• Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:2.
