Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ortho and Neuro Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients within the orthopedic and neurology patient population. This role requires the ability to monitor telemetry in a centralized unit and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and neurology patients.
• Monitor vital signs and telemetry, ensuring timely interventions when needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapy and pharmacy.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar unit.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Recent experience with EPIC documentation system within the last 6 months is essential.
• Experience caring for patients with medical surgical, orthopedic, and neuro conditions.
