This position is for night shifts, operating on a 4x12-hour schedule from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Medical Surgical Night Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will be responsible for overseeing patient treatment plans, administering medication, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions on a regular basis.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
• Perform patient assessments and document care provided in the EMR system, specifically EPIC.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a relevant specialty.
• BLS certification is required; CPI certification is preferred.
