Laboratory Supervisor

Job Description

Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Medical Director, the Laboratory Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of laboratory personnel engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests. The role ensures adherence to quality control protocols, assists in maintaining laboratory equipment, and supports the Manager in overseeing staffing, training, and compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of laboratory personnel performing various tests.
• Ensure adherence to quality control protocols and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Support the Laboratory Manager in staffing and training initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have BLS certifications (American Heart Association).
• A minimum of a high school diploma and graduation from an MT or CLS training program approved or accredited by an appropriate organization.
• ASCP certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years recent laboratory supervisor experience.

Schedule

Shifts will be Monday to Friday, from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
