Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Women's Services unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to laboring patients while promoting patient choice and supporting vaginal birth opportunities based on individual preferences.

Responsibilities

• Assist in labor and delivery procedures, including circulating in the operating room.
• Monitor and support patients through the labor process with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
• Utilize advanced skills such as IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, and nitrous oxide for pain management.
• Work collaboratively with a laborist team, including in-house midwives and dedicated CRNA.
• Participate in couplet care during the postpartum period to promote breastfeeding and family bonding.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications.
• Fetal monitoring experience preferred.
• Advanced skills or certification in Spinning Babies and STABLE are advantageous.
