NOC (19:00 – 07:30), 3 × 12 hr shifts, with options for either 36 or 48-hour work weeks. Overtime begins after 48 hours.

Job Description

Registered Nurses (RNs) will provide care to ICU boarders in the PACU unit, primarily consisting of trauma overflow patients. Although previous trauma training is not required, RNs should be prepared to float to the Emergency Department for ICU holds or other ICU/Stepdown units based on needs and patient census.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and evaluate care needed for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician.
• Collaborate with the patient, their family, professional peers, and other healthcare team members using the nursing process to individualize patient care.
• Direct nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to nursing practice standards and administrative policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty (Preferred)
• PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
• Basic Life Support certification (Required)
