Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Job Description

The position involves working in a dynamic environment, splitting hours between an outpatient office for nuclear stress testing and the main campus for general nuclear medicine testing. The technician will perform various nuclear medicine studies, including cardiac studies, and will be responsible for maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of general nuclear medicine and cardiac studies.
• IV insertion and safe handling/storage of radioactive materials.
• Maintain American College of Radiography NM Accreditation.
• Maintain State of Maine Radioactive Materials license.
• Ensure detailed documentation of procedures.
• Communicate effectively with Cardiologists/Radiologists to ensure quality exams.
• Provide exceptional patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of nuclear medicine experience (preferred).
• BLS Certification.
• CNMT licensure.
