Schedule / Shift

Shifts are 3x12-hour Day (07:00 - 19:00) and Night (19:00 - 07:00). Weekend coverage is required, with variable schedules during weekdays.

Job Description

This position requires a Registered Nurse with Emergency Department or ICU experience. The nurse will provide patient care across multiple units, as needed, and may be required to float to other locations within the healthcare system based on departmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in Emergency Department and ICU settings.
• Float between units as per clinical needs and skill sets.
• Handle various patient diagnoses including CHF, pneumonia, and geriatric services.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response for critical situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with specific experience in Emergency Department or ICU.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS is highly desired.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
